Dr. Britton Beatrous is a native of Mandeville, Louisiana, and a proud graduate of St. Paul’s School. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude. During college, he spent a year studying abroad in Spain and Ecuador, where he developed proficiency in the Spanish language and a deep appreciation for global cultures. He went on to receive his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport.

He was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his academic excellence. Driven by a deep commitment to service, he took part in medical mission efforts in Nepal following the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake and later served in Bungoma, Kenya, where he helped run a rural primary care clinic.

Dr. Beatrous completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. There, he received comprehensive training in the full scope of ear, nose, and throat care for patients of all ages. His clinical interests include pediatric otolaryngology; rhinology and sinus surgery; allergy testing and immunotherapy; voice and swallowing disorders; otology and balance disorders; facial plastics and skin cancer reconstruction; sleep surgery, including Inspire therapy; and head and neck cancer treatment.

He also published several research papers and presented his work at national conferences.

As a senior resident, he returned to Kenya for a medical mission trip—this time alongside his father, Dr. John Beatrous. Together with their team, they evaluated more than 300 patients and performed over 60 surgeries, an experience he considers one of the most meaningful of his training years.

After completing residency, Dr. Beatrous had the opportunity to return home to Louisiana. He and his wife, Kelsey, live in Mandeville with their daughter and goldendoodle. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, speed golfing, and gardening.
